flagship year-long discipleship fellows program The Fellows Program is the C.S. Lewis Institute’s flagship, year-long discipleship program that helps believers experience true heart and mind transformation. It challenges and guides participants to a strong understanding of discipleship, personal mission, and conversational apologetics through Bible study, classic readings, lectures, group dialogue, spiritual mentoring, and accountability— all within the context of a small group of like-minded believers. Fellows continue in their careers while participating in the program. A high level of commitment is required, however the program requirements are designed to be achievable even for busy professionals with families. Fellows are expected to complete all assignments and attend all regularly scheduled meetings. The Fellows Program runs on the academic calendar year, from September through June. Summer readings preface the September kick-off, a weekend retreat held the first weekend following Labor Day. Thereafter, Fellows meet as a group one Saturday morning per month, from 8:45 am until 12:00 pm for instruction, discussion, and fellowship. With an overall focus on spiritual formation, evangelism, apologetics, and calling, a biblical theme is examined each month, including: The Fatherhood of God The Grace of God and True Conversion Following Jesus Christ Living a Life of Love Growing in Humility The Holy Spirit and Obedience Growing in Prayer Being Transformed Through the Bible Conversational Apologetics Living a Life of Faith and Generosity Pursuing God’s Call on Your Life The Mission of Disciplemaking. The Fellows Program is offered at several C.S. Lewis Institute branches, including Washington, D.C., Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, Cincinnati, Central Pennsylvania, Northeast Ohio, and London. fellows
